The test is about English, and more specifically, proficiency in the English language. Therefore, what difference doesit make as to ' common topics' likely to be asked in the test.
Whatever be the topic, any student exposed to a certain situation or situations should be able to answer. They might ask you about your home, family, education, transport system etc. Question could be about flower, curtains, food, vacations, appliances, it really does not matter. One doesn't learn or use a language based one TOPICS, rather a language is used to copewith situations.
So, keep this in mind, if you are nervous, start speaking and listening to English as much as you can, and you should be okay.
