Writing Tips IELTS
A general error seen amongst students in the writing tasks is verb patterns, i.e., in the usage of infinitives and gerunds.
Given below is a handy tip on which Infinitives and those by gerunds should follow few verbs.
Do use them correctly.
This list is not exhaustive. Common words used by IELTS aspirants have been given below.

The following verbs are followed by the - ing form ( gerund):

- Dislike
- Enjoy
- Resent
- Avoid
- Admit*
- Endure
- Escape
-Involve
- Miss
- Practise

- Consider

Suggest*
Example:
I propose meeting my client after work, today.

Do note: Verbs marked with an asterisk (a 'that' - clause can also follow *).
Examples:
1. I appreciate that you called me up to inform me.
