It is a misconception that unless you go for coaching you can't crack IITJEE. Without any coaching the road to success is not rosy but one can get the desired result if preparation is done methodically right from the beginning.
Here are some action points which require your preferred attention :
1. Be positive, have confidence and belief in yourself that you can do this and you will certainly crack IIT JEE in very first attempt.
2. Keep a copy of syllabus and last five years questions set ready with you.

If you really want to do self study then good, I really appreciate you. Steps to be followed-
1. Prepare your Schedule
2. Take a Print out of the Syllabus
3. Check all the content of the syllabus is available with you, if not then get it first.
4. Take 1 module and make a notebook for it to note down important points.
5. As you are completing your one of the content or 2, Tick mark on your syllabus.
6. Take help from videos rather than writing material will give you good experience.
