I am an MBA student. I have been teaching online for the past one and a half years, specifically focusing on helping students with their IELTS preparation. As an online instructor, I conduct weekend classes that last for one hour, providing an interactive learning experience for my students.
To enhance the learning process, I utilize various tools and techniques. One of the main tools I use is PowerPoint presentations (PPTs), which allow me to deliver content in a visually appealing and organized manner. I believe that incorporating multimedia elements in my classes helps to keep the students engaged and aids in their understanding of the subject matter. In addition to PPTs, I create customized materials and tests to cater to the specific needs of my students. I understand that each individual has unique strengths and weaknesses, so I strive to create resources that address those areas effectively. I aim to optimize their learning experience and enable them to achieve their desired IELTS scores.
Moreover, I ensure my classes are interactive, encouraging students to participate and ask questions actively. I believe that active engagement fosters better comprehension and retention of the content. Hence, I create an inclusive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and seeking clarification.
I have witnessed the positive impact my classes have had on my students. Many of them have shown remarkable improvement in their language skills and have successfully achieved their desired scores in the IELTS examination. Teaching online has challenges, but I have learned to adapt and make the most of the virtual platform. I am constantly exploring new teaching methodologies and staying updated with the latest trends in language instruction.
