But to know which is necessary we use our interpersonal skill.You have a full power to choose the way and reach your ultimate goal. As in this course we have show result in class room.if you are thinking about reading, writing, listening and speaking then I would like to say it only provide understanding by doing all these things anyone can have proper connection with this beautiful language.To speak is totally different it doesn't requires a lot of bookish things and difficult rules of grammar. As for example five years kid is able to speak English. So just do according to your own comfort and which is most suitable for your students. Thanks. read less

Has your grand father, grand mother, uncle or aunt ever corrected your Spoken English? In many parts of Tamil Nadu, especially in villages, a car was addressed as a "Pleasure" (during1960s). My father's elder brother worked as a Government Interpreter, English-Tamil-English, in Singapore during British rule and spent half span of his life there with his family. After retirement he settled down in his native town in Tamil Nadu. He used to teach English to youngsters and correct their silly mistakes too. Once we were shouting "Pleasure, pleasure" on seeing a car plying in our town. He explained how the word "Pleasure" originated. Travelling by car is still a pleasure but one used to feel overjoyed in those days. Some educated person called the experience as a "Pleasure" and villagers misinterpreted it and started calling a car a "Pleasure".

I can understand 50% but I don't know how to speak with others..
To get a good grip on any language one first has to lose the fear of it. Once you let of any consciousness towards speaking a language you will find it much easier to learn it....
