I am sarada.I have 6 yrs of Mainframe experience(Banking and credit card systems). Due to some personal reasons I took a carrer break and now want to restart it after 8 yrs.Could you please suggest me if it would be better to contine in the Mainframes or changing into a new technology will help.If new which one do you sugggest?

While mainframes is a niche area with limited clients , though you can still have a good career , you can think of SAP FICO/Banking Domain ( Industry specific solution learning) , explore SAP FICO as an option and surely it can offer width and depth in your career
There are lot of resources and courses on open.sap.com and SAP help portal to start with and then can choose SAP partner education/online training/class room depending on your learning flexibility
