"I had enrolled for kannada tuition for my son who is studying in 3rd std. The journey with Meenakshi mam was very good. She was very calm and was continuously helping with his language pronunciation and reading. She was always encouraging. She was telling the importance of Indian languages and how knowing one Indian language will help us to learn the remaining languages. She gives additional colourful worksheets for kids which was really helpful. "

"I can't express my gratitude towards you through some words mam. Your the reason for my son' kannada Language improvement and interest.. Mam does not think about time and self priority when it comes to teaching. She would be ready to help at all time and her hearty welcome for each and every doubt is a great character which I admire in her. My son has improved a lot in Kannada and Mam is the only reason for that. Thank you soo much mam. Your way of teaching brings interest in Kannada and that's why it motivates the kids to learn. Your kindness in helping kids with their curriculum and out of curriculum is a special unique thing which makes me admire every time I reach you for any help in Kannada. "Words are not enough to describe my gratitude to Meenakshi Ma'am. Couple of months ago, I had a overwhelming need to learn spoken Kannada, what worried me the most is finding the right 'Meastru'. I came upon UrbanPro and they had so many teacher profiles, decision making was tough as I had to choose the teacher for myself. But am so glad that I made the right choice. Meenakshi Ma'am is so passionate and dedicated to the profession. I absolutely had no knowledge in spoken Kannada and she understood that. Below are my takeaways from my interactions and learnings, 1. There is always a bright smile waiting to greet you before you begin each class. 2. Always enquires about your day, health and mental state. 3. Very punctual and always on time for classes. A day before the class, she sends reminders to ensure we are aware and attend classes. 4. Very accommodating. She is to slide me into next available slot if I had to miss class due to work. 5. Her classes are very methodical and she takes time to go through each conversation to make sure we understand and able to grasp on our pace. 6. Her method of teaching spoken Kannada in relation to our mother tongue was very helpful in grasping spoken Kannada. 7. After every lesson, there are exercises to perform. She is very encouraging and motivates us to do well in those activities. 8. Even after making countless mistakes, she took time to repeat and re-educate on my mistakes. Never ever have I ever seen her be frustrated or angry despite my shortcomings. Meenakshi Ma'am gave me the best gift of all… Believing in me! Thank you so much and I really enjoyed learning spoken Kannada. Now I need to do my part, i.e., put the learnings into meaningful conversations as part of my day to day life. I would highly/strongly recommend Meenakshi Ma'am if your looking to learn Kannada just like I did a couple months ago. "

"I was looking for Spoken Kannada classes because I believe one should learn the language when one is settling in the city. Then I came across Meenakshi Krishnamurthy ma’am. I am blessed to have been taught by a teacher like her. She is very kind, very motivating and always encouraging. Previously I could understand Kannada only through the context or the environment I was in. But from the time the classes started, I was able to understand the language word by word. Gradually over the sessions, I could see good improvement in my understanding capabilities and now I’m able to form sentences and give responses in Kannada. "I am an Advocate practicing before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. 90% of my clients are from Karnataka as my practice of law started under a senior counsel from Karnataka. I felt the need to learn Kannada as many of my clients found it difficult to communicate in English or Hindi. I searched for a teacher online. "I had a great time with Krishnamurthy teacher for my Kannada class. She’s really proficient at teaching Kannada. When I started learning, I had no Kannada knowledge and I don’t live with people who speak Kannada. Inspite of this, I was able to pick up the language and understand/ speak a lot of it towards the end of the class. I’m so thankful to have found Krishnamurthy teacher! She has been patient, kind, and understanding to my schedule and needs. It was a lovely experience working with teacher and I would strongly recommend anyone looking to learn Kannada to reach out to her. We covered hands-on exercises and speaking during the class. Teacher made sure I understood everything and provided me suggestions on what I could do outside the class to improve my Kannada skills. She also regularly sent extra materials for me to review. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better Kannada teacher! She’s indeed the best I’ve come across. I was pleasantly surprised that I picked up a lot of Kannada in such a small number of classes!
