Answer 
The test remains the same irrespective of who is conducting it. IDP and British Council jointly own the test with Cambridge University. The examiners look at your papers objectively. You could choose IDP or BC depending on the time.
The latest from IDP is that they have introduced Computer-delivered IELTS in 5 cities in India (Bangalore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi). This allows for greater flexibility as the candidates can choose the dates.
