I am new to this site..basically I am engineering graduate, and have 3yrs exp working as a software engineer in a MNC. I just completed my master's in HR through online mode. Am I eligible for writing NET. Suddenly I got interest in educational technology,I would like to know which institutions offering this course in India, as I have keen interest in doing Phd in the above said field. I have googled for the same not getting the clear picture, pls guide me.

UGC is conducting NET exam and right now CBSE is managing this. Exam of net is held twice in a year in June and in Dec. Only last sunday of month. There are three paper one had to pass. but condition is paper one is must to be cleared by every candidate. If u got failed in 1 paper then other paper will not be checked and u got disqualified for that attempt but no maximum number of attempts are there. read less

You are engineering student, hence you do not need to clear NET for Ph.D, Also there is no NET for Engineering graduates. Furthermore, you had Masters in HR so you are not eligible for Ph.D. in engineering.
