When we get up as straight from savasana pose(where our body remains in inactive mode) contraction may happen in our back which may lead to muscle spasms, to avoid this, we roll on our either side and gets up and the reason to do this. While we do this, we provide support to our body by our hands.

There are no such rules for Savasana that you've to roll to the right or left when finished and getting up. Do you get up straight when waking up from sleep? You go to the sides for support when getting up. Most of our muscles are relaxed during Savasana, which results in relaxation of blood vessels and nerves. Sudden springing up straight from this relaxed state heavily contracts muscles along with blood vessels and nerves which could have a devastating effect on our health. Immediate decreased flow of blood and nerve response could result in heart attack, stroke, nerve anomalies, etc. So it's practical to roll on sides slowly when getting up.

Our heart lies on the left side. Thus when we roll to the right, there is no pressure of the organs of the right side on the heart, as it lies over them and not underneath. It maintains blood circulation well. Hence, we roll to the right after Savasana.
